Caro Rock is the CEO of Family Business Publishing Company and the publisher of Family Business, which provides multigenerational family business owners and shareholders with the knowledge and skills to be successful in their roles. Prior to Family Business, she was the founder and publisher of Main Line Life, a community newspaper reaching over 15,000 readers in the western suburbs of Philadelphia and held executive positions at multiple national media and finance companies. She grew up in a family business in Kansas City, Mo., that manufactured and sold Ceresota and Heckers Flour, Wheatena and Maypo hot cereals and Patio Chef Charcoal. Caro serves on numer-ous boards including the Thomas Jefferson University Health System, where she is currently vice chair and former chair of its nominating and governance committee, and the Rock School for Dance Education, where she was chairwoman for 15 years. She continues to serve on the School of American Ballet advisory committee and is a member of the Forum of Executive Women. Caro was a previous board member of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce, The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia and the Free Library of Philadelphia. She has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Tulane University.
